Function Documentation

◆ apply_tp_correction()

auto astro::earth::refraction::detail::apply_tp_correction ( const toolbox::AngleDeg & r_native,
const Params & params )->toolbox::AngleDeg
inlinenodiscard

Apply the standard temperature/pressure correction to a native refraction value.

Parameters
r_nativeThe refraction at 10°C/1010 hPa, in degrees.
paramsThe actual atmospheric conditions.
Returns
The corrected refraction, in degrees.
Note
Meeus scales refraction by (P/1010) * (283/(273+T_c)).

◆ validate_params()

auto astro::earth::refraction::detail::validate_params ( const Params & params) ->void
inline

Validate refraction parameters are finite and above the numerical pole at −273°C.

Exceptions
std::invalid_argumentIf temperature is not finite or ≤ −273°C, or pressure is not finite or non-positive.
